Before you rely on a figure for a filing, an audit or a roadside stop, confirm it against the current text of 49 CFR or with your own advisor.

The tools

The calculators estimate. They are built from the published rules and are useful for planning, quoting and checking your own arithmetic — they are not a system of record. Your logs, your IFTA return and your driver files are yours to keep and to defend.

Accuracy and sources

Regulatory figures on this site carry the source and the date they were checked. We fix what we find wrong. We do not warrant that every number is current at the moment you read it.
